COSMO MODULE LAYOUT & INSTALLATION

The Cosmo Linear System is very easy to install.

Installation PDF download below & basic information is also provided further down on this page.

INSTALLATION GUIDE
  • TYPE MODULE BREAKDOWN

    TYPE A: 1 × 609mm, 2 × 1000mm

    TYPE B: 1 × 304mm, 1 × 609mm, 2 × 1000mm, 2 × 1220mm

    TYPE C: 8 × 1220mm

    TYPE D: 5 × 1000mm, 3 × 1220mm

Exact module lengths will be slightly longer than above due to end caps which add ~3-6mm per module. 6mm has been included in the drawing measurements.

  • SUPPLIED SEPARATELY

449 × 1 metre profile lengths. (May require cutting on-site)
    Each profile length includes:
    - 2 × Cosmo clips (to hold Cosmo module in profile)

    - 2 × Profile end caps (only two per total continuous light run required)

    69 × 9m power feeds

69 × IP67 cosmo connector cable end caps (for last module in light run)

  • AREAS OF KITCHEN CABINETRY

    2 × 10.8m (2400mm + 8320mm)

    LENGTH A (1/2): 2 × 1220mm

    LENGTH B (2/2): 1 × 1000mm & 6 × 1220mm

  • SUPPLIED SEPARATELY

22 × 1 metre profile lengths (may require cutting on-site)

    Each profile length includes:
    - 2 × Cosmo clips (to hold Cosmo module in profile)

    - 2 × Profile end caps (only two per total continuous light run required)

    4 × 6m Power Feed

4 × IP67 cosmo connector cable end caps
(for last module in light run)

  • Cosmo modules are designed for connection in any order regardless of individual module length via female and male plugs.

Female plug: the connector cable is located underneath the module & can connect to either a power feed or the previous module.

Male plug (blue): the connector cable extends out, it can connect to either the next module or to an end cap if it’s going to be the last module in a length.

  • 1) Screw-fix 1m profile lengths first to make up total length (may require on-site cutting).

    2) Determine power feed end of install, and start there. Connect Cosmo clips (2 included with each 1m profile) to the modules.

    3) Connect the power feed to first module, then insert module into profile. The male connection cables protrude from the module end allowing easy connection to the next module.

    3) Continue step 2 until at the last module.

  • 4) For last module fit an female IP67 end cap to last male plug (blue) and fold the cable underneath the module & insert into profile.

    5) Once all modules are inserted into profile, screw-fix the profile end caps on to secure at each end.

    6) Connect power feed to power supply / controller.
